BELEAF has served as the interim project director for the Westermeerdijk Solar Park in Flevoland. It is an elongated solar park located along the Westermeerdijk in the Noordoostpolder.
Parallel to the wind turbines of NOP Agrowind, NOVAR is developing an eight-kilometer long solar park with an installed capacity of more than 150 MWp. A beautiful project in an even more stunning location. Pim served as interim project director for over six months in 2024. In this role, he was ultimately responsible for the successful development of the project towards financial close. During his time at NOVAR, he worked on further professionalizing the development team. He was also closely involved in several key development steps, such as making agreements with NOP Agrowind, setting up the EPC tender, and constructing the associated grid connection NNWZ. Additionally, he managed contacts with the competent authority and co-shareholders. Pim subsequently left the project in good hands. The expectation is that construction can begin in 2025 and that the solar park will be fully operational in 2026.
