Energiepark Pottendijk in Emmer-Compascuum has realized 14 wind turbines and a solar park of 35.5 hectares. In December 2020, Shell acquired the shares of Energiepark Pottendijk. BELEAF was involved in the further development and realization of the energy park in 2021 and 2022.
Our contribution consisted, among other things, of coordinating the permits for the construction phase, managing the land dossier and supporting the contracting of the energy park. The combination of a wind and solar park and a relatively short realization period makes it a challenging project for which BELEAF is happy to use its knowledge of the project. Angelique has been involved in the project since mid-2018. On behalf of developer Jeroen Deddens, she was responsible for project management and setting up a sale process (share transaction (M&A)) of Energiepark Pottendijk. She did this together with Pim and colleagues from HVG Law LLP, PBA Innovate and Pondera, among others.
