A business of your own
April 1, 2021 marked the official beginning of BELEAF. Angelique and I have embarked on a new adventure. We started with great pleasure and enthusiasm. The projects we are still working on (e.g. Windpark Maasvlakte and Energiepark Pottendijk) remain the core of what we do, but we will soon add new projects and combine them with volunteer work. Quite a challenge, but how cool.
What preceded…
Starting a new business does not happen overnight. Structured as Angelique and I are, we tackled this thoroughly. Written a business plan, made good arrangements with our previous employer Pondera and of course had this beautiful website created by Matthijs Schippers. We both enjoy being able to pull our own strings and make quick decisions. From the purchase of our reMarkables to the font to be used on our stationery, we decide everything ourselves.
The logo
Every company has a logo. BELEAF as well. Angelique and I talked about it a lot. Together with Matthijs, we arrived at a sheet. Not that surprising perhaps, but our main concern is really what holds the leaf together: the veins. The development of a (sustainable) project also follows a route, just like the veins in a leaf. There is a main route (the thick vein in the middle) that we as project managers must keep a close eye on. But it is often necessary to walk the smaller veins as well. That’s what Angelique and I love, too: we love getting into the content!
Getting Started
We are registered with the Chamber of Commerce, the laptops are running and we have our own logo and website. We can get started and are looking forward to it!
Do you have questions about us or what we do? Let me know.
